If you need a place to stay overnight in Western New York, we have a list of nearby hotels and local accommodations that you can consider.

From Buffalo/Niagara/Toronto

  • Head south on Interstate 190.
  • Merge onto Interstate 90 westbound (towards Erie).
  • Take exit 60.
  • After exiting the toll plaza, turn left onto NY Route 394 south. Drive 7.5 miles (12 km).
  • Turn left onto NY Route 430 (east). Drive 7 miles (11 km).
  • The camp will be on your right-hand side. (If you pass Midway Amusement Park, you have gone too far.)

Toll information: Interstates 90 and 190 use electronic tolling. If you do not have an E-ZPass, you will need to pay online or by mail (it may take a few weeks for your trip to be posted online). Drivers without an E-ZPass will pay $1.75 on Interstate 190 (at Grand Island) and $4.56 along Interstate 90 (exits 55 to 60).

Rest areas: The 90-minute drive from Buffalo to camp is sparsely populated with long distances between exits. If your family requires food or a rest stop, we recommend visiting the Angola Service Area (between exits 57A and 58 – Chick-fil-A, Shake Shack, Starbucks, Panda Express) or Dunkirk/Fredonia (exit 59 – McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, Tim Hortons, Denny’s, Sonic, Walmart).

From Erie/Cleveland/Pittsburgh

  • Head east on Interstate 90.
  • Take exit 37 onto Interstate 86 eastbound.
  • Take exit 9 onto NY Route 430 (west). The exit is on the left side of the highway.
  • Continue driving for 5 miles (8 km).
  • The camp will be on your left-hand side. (It is 1/4 mile past Midway Amusement Park.)

Rest areas: The one-hour drive from Erie to camp is sparsely populated with long distances between exits. If your family requires food or a rest stop, we recommend visiting Erie at Peach Street (exit 24 – McDonald’s, Chick-fil-A, Cracker Barrel, Quaker Steak and Lube, Burger King, Walmart).

From Jamestown/Binghamton/New York City

  • Head west on Interstate 86.
  • Take exit 10 onto NY Route 430 (west).
  • Continue driving for 4.5 miles (7 km).
  • The camp will be on your left-hand side. (It is 1/4 mile past Midway Amusement Park.)

Rest areas: Interstate 86 is sparsely populated. If your family requires food or a rest stop, we recommend visiting Jamestown (exit 12 – McDonald’s, Tim Hortons, Bob Evans), Olean (exit 24 – Applebee’s, McDonald’s, Chipotle, Burger King, Walmart), or Bath (exit 37 – McDonald’s, KFC, Burger King, Taco Bell).
